Where self-expression leads to discovery

The Cook Up is an afterschool opportunity with local teaching artists from All of the Above Hip Hop Academy designed to:

• Develop artistry in Beat Making, Rhyme Writing, Graffiti Art, Breaking or DJ'ing

• Link students to resources that support academic, artistic, and personal goals

• Socialize with students of similar interests

• Learn more about Hip Hop History/Culture

• Expand student's community and network

during the school year:

The Cook Up meets once a week during the after-school program allotted time frame and runs throughout the school year.
