Above & Beyond: Ameur Guesmi aka Bboy Zulu Rema
Connecting to something bigger than oneself ignites the imagination and fuels possibility.
Having Ameur Guesmi aka Bboy Zulu Rema with us was 100% pure concentrated brilliance.
For our young breakers to see Hip Hop’s impact in the global context through the eyes of a 21-year-old old Tunisian B-boy and visual artist was an unforgettable experience.
For him to take the time to train with our students, sharing knowledge and techniques was legendary.
Thank you, Rema, and the folks at Hip Hop Association of Advancement and Education (HHAAE) for blessing us.

Our young breakers collectively get excited for the cypher. Some individuals, though, look forward to it a bit more than others.
They’re waiting anxiously to show off a polished technique they’ve learned in class or to surprise everyone with a new and unexpected move they’ve practiced at home.
We love when they show off polished techniques! We love being surprised by the unexpected! | AOTA - Photos by Yo Joe Photo
