Peace everyone. It's that time again.
If you’ve been rocking with us for a while, you know Tis the season for our Dolla 4 Dolla Holiday drive.
2021 was a landmark year for us! We were able to strengthen our administrative team, expand programming, and foster a strong network of resources for youth in collaboration with both local and national partnerships.
We couldn’t have done a fraction of that without your support!
We’re incredibly grateful for the ways you show up for us year after year.
In October we kicked this campaign off with a park jam and, true to character, you all helped us raise just under $1,000 in 1 day!
Between now and the end of the year, our goal is to reach $10,000. This will support free programs, youth mentoring, and our work to sustain healthy spaces for youth development through Hip Hop Culture.
Help us hit the ground running in 2022 by donating today and sharing this video with your network.
Together we build 517.
Happy Holidays! | By Ozay Moore - AOTA
We’ve been piloting a B.A.R.S program for ages 9-12. It’s been excellent.
The program goes public in January! |AOTA

When it comes to fly gifts and a good cause, look no further than the AOTA Online Store!
Keep your crown warm with one of these fresh Pom-Pom Beanies this winter.
Wearing one is a good way to rep the Capital City and a movement that’s making a difference in the lives of young people through Hip Hop culture. |AOTA
We love getting in the lab with this B.A.R.S cohort!
They’re brimming with talent, drive, and creativity.
We’re excited for you all to hear what they’re cooking. | AOTA

Our Breaking 101 students sharing space with the MSU Breakers creates quite the electric atmosphere!
When they’re together you can feel the kinetic energy in the studio!
Everyone’s actively working on their polished techniques while trying and sharing new ones.
There are, however, moments when the breakers pause for moment.
They’re not moving. They’re not energized.
They’re just relaxing. | AOTA
The last couple sessions of our B.A.R.S. program we’ve had MSUFCU Financial Educator Cecilia Sandoval leading our students in some engaging insightful workshops.
We’ve covered subjects such as these:
-Professionalism
-Banking and Budgeting
-Taxes and Credit
And so much more! | AOTA

Breaking 101 instructor B-Boy Young One gets so excited when the students have answers to his questions or when they ask one of their own.
Young explains techniques and moves using easily digestible details, then he opens the corral for them to feed from his buffet of knowledge.
Being inquisitive is encouraged. Recalling what they’ve learned is encouraged.
Every student is welcomed to put their hand in the air.
Every answer they give or question they ask is responded to with enthusiasm.
Everyone there is learning from one another. | AOTA
On October 30, 2021, AOTA partnered with the Lansing City Clerk's office for their "Souls to the Polls" event.
We were spreading good vibes and sharing treats with the community. Good times!

October 9, 2021 was a historic day for All of the Above HipHop Academy. It was our inaugural Park Jam!
It kicked off the Dolla 4 Dolla fundraiser and was all the good vibes we could ask for - food, cyphers, youth performances, family, friends, and community. It doesn't get much better than that!
Our friend Craig Derek Jones captured some of the magic in this short video.
Now through the end of the year, you can support our fundraiser at https://aotahiphop.givingfuel.com/cro...
Every dollar raised supports free Hip-Hop-centered youth programming in Lansing. Michigan.
Thank you to everyone who came out, showed love, and gave to the cause! We love yawl!

What are your main tips and habits to foster better collaboration?
Our current cohort of artists in our B.A.R.S. (Beats and Rhymes Sessions) class talked about understanding each other’s perspectives and opinions.
Being perceptive makes it easier to know why and how people work creatively.
Everyone in B.A.R.S. is learning that collaboration happens in the studio and outside of the studio. | AOTA
